-
Set Up Mouse

-

- As soon as you move your mouse, an auto-detect routine will
- determine what kind of mouse you are using and initialize mouse
- support accordingly.
-

-
-

-
- Note: If you are using a serial mouse, be sure to move the
- mouse slowly, otherwise it may not be detected correctly.
-
-

-
-

- If your mouse is not detected correctly, or if this computer
- does not have a mouse, you can use your keyboard to navigate
- the interface on this and all other pages. Use the cursor and
- tab keys to move through the dialogs and select items by
- pressing the space bar.
-

-
-

- Unix mice usually have three buttons, and many programs rely
- on this. Since other operating systems use two-button mice,
- the third mouse button can be emulated by pressing the two buttons
- simultaneously. Use the Emulate 3rd button option located at
- the bottom left of the dialog to enable this behavior.
-

-
-

- Before going to the next screen, use the test area to see if your
- mouse is working as expected. If not, double check that the mouse
- settings are correct for your hardware. If they are not,
- change the settings using the keyboard controls.
